Children and Families

In recent years Holy Trinity has witnessed a growing number of births and baptisms. The large number of children in worship is a wonderful sign of growth and vitality. The children participate in worship in a number of ways: as readers, torchbearers, gift bearers (bread and wine) and singing in a special children’s choir.

A nursery is staffed on Sundays mornings from 8:45am through 12pm during the school year and during the 9:30 a.m. service in the summer. Sunday School is held Sunday mornings from September through May at 10am, and Vacation Bible School is jointly sponsored with several other congregations during the summer.

Families with small children also gather periodically for meals, the annual Easter egg hunt, and other special events.

A baptism class is offered several times a year for parents (either expecting or with newborns) who are preparing for baptism. Communion classes are offered periodically for children preparing for first communion or as part of their faith formation.
